Resham Firiri Nepal supplied a 120-watt, battery-powered soundbox with dual wireless microphones to Kumarwarti Secondary School in Madhyabindu-2, Kolhuwa. The donation addresses chronic audibility problems that had undermined assemblies, music classes, and community meetings for the school’s 620 students and 34 teachers. Following a needs assessment in January 2025, the equipment was procured locally and formally handed over after a hands-on training session for 18 staff members. Early monitoring shows a 30 percent drop in back-row disengagement and the revival of the school’s cultural programmes, with the folk-dance club already planning its first public performance in three years. A two-year maintenance agreement with the vendor and quarterly follow-up visits by RFN volunteers ensure the system’s long-term reliability, while pending funding will add solar-charging capability to extend usage across neighbouring schools.
